[For Sale] Mercedes SL350

Looking to sell my Merc' SL350, will be being replaced with a smaller/cheaper convertible if anyone has something to 'part ex'? Will make contribution to forum if sold through here Thumbs Up

Here's the blurb;

Immaculate, low mileage, fully MB dealer serviced, new P-Zero's all round. Spent a long time finding the best one I could when I bought this, think I looked at every SL for sale in a 60 mile radius of where I lived when I came upon this and purchased it. Has the optional AMG Sports package (19" staggered five spoke alloys, immaculate and no kerb marks whatsoever, fitted with matching Pirelli P-Zero 285/30/19 on rear and 255/35/19 front), drilled MB brakes. Other options include; glass panoramic folding roof (operates from key-fob too), Designo Mokka Black metallic paint finish (no rust, dinks, scratches). Direct power steering, directional Bi-Xenon headlamps, black-ash wood trim, Airscarf neck heating, parktronic parking sensors front and rear, remote boot closing, Harmon-Kardon sound system,. All printouts of services (all MB dealer) and MOT's available (NEVER HAD A FAIL OR ADVISORY ON ITS MOT HISTORY) and last 'B' service and additional works carried out June 2020 (receipt for £1200 with pack) means absolutely nothing required on this car. All books, keys, service wallet, etc. with vehicle. Any viewing will be safely distanced and car will be cleaned/sanitised accordingly. Test drives ONLY IF photo ID left with me and proof of insurance, NO EXCEPTIONS. Note; car will revert to original '11' plate, Smoke free, Pet free, Full service history, Recent MOT Next MOT due 19/02/2022, Full service history, Black, 4 owners, £17,950

Just a few pics here, have plenty of others if anyone interested

A cracking SL350, and excellent value for money.

I have a similar one in Red, and can't recommend this model too highly. If I hadn't already got one in the drive I'd be on my way to buy this by now.

Good luck with the sale.

Oops, yes missing a few details as just lifted it from my on-line advert that has a few boxes more detail. You can find it if you search a well know auto vehicle seller on t'web Thumbs Up

Its a 2011 plated car but currently sitting on a private plate. Can share reg' number via PM if you want to do your own checks, etc.

Mileage is 29,700'ish, I only ever take it out on sunny, dry, days, it's the weekend drive-out motor for myself and SWMBO.

I don't actually have any pictures of it with roof up, will have to get some, never use it unless roof is down!

Even looked for some online pics and not found any of black cars, will get some uploaded when stops raining here and I get it out!

Any questions Iggy I'll happily answer.

I bought a similar SL350 last summer, it's the second I've owned, the R230 is EXCELLENT & good value for money.

I think that these "hard-roof" convertibles, are going to hold their value rather well as MB are reverting to canvas hoods to save weight & improve compliance with latest requirements.

The metal hoods, are more secure, quieter, more elegant & all in all very good news.

Here's mine:-

Mixed emotions.

I know you wanted to sell Andy, but I guess you also regretted doing so.

Well done.

I don't really have emotions to cars, selling this is an opportunity to have all the fun searching and buying it's replacement Mr. Green

It is only been sold due to its practicality. Leaving work I assumed my company cars went back but I get to keep them under the retirement rules Very Happy

However, only taking one of them (Ordered a Defender 110) so the SL would be promoted from sunny-day only 3rd car to a more daily 2nd car and I can't really imagine popping to Tesco's in an SL if I want to keep it pristine.

Will be replaced with something more suited to 2nd car duties but retain the fun on those sunny days out too.

Front runners are currently Golf (GTi, FSi, etc.) Audi A3 2.0 FSi or MINI Cooper S (but am much preferring the Roadster to the normal convertible but rare and older now).

Saying that though it could be pretty much anything that takes my fancy and 'right car, right price' rules apply.

Onto Autotrader with a coffee next Thumbs Up
