You need a old fashion hair clip, cut the platic ends off and slightly bend them down, you then need to insert it in to the plug to get both locking tabs in to extract the pins, there are pin extractors on ebay but they are .

They are a very difficult connector to do
Remove red front
Push wire in from the back (to relieve pressure)
Using a paper clip or similar, push it in from the front.
Push it in on the outside of the terminal.
You are trying to prod a plastic tab in the outside that holds the terminal there
Then when you think you have, pull the wire

Thanks all. Done now except a bit of trimming. One final question (on this subject anyway 😉) what adapter do I need for reverse camera? Flacks write up says it’s in the square grey plug but mine is a rca plug and I had no old plugs come with d4 unit. Cheers

yeah there is a grey 6 pin connector.
The camera needs connecting to the center 2 pins.
A computer connector will work.
Have you conencted the speed single up ok ?
If you don't have a spare terminal, use the green wire (that does NOT go into a black screened cable)
and I'll tell you how to connect at the other end of it
