Fixed Tow Bar
I’m looking for suggestions on where to get a fixed tow bar fitted. I’ve got the electrics already fitted.
All the searches I’ve found have been for electric and fitting of the tow bar but all I need is the fitting of the tow bar itself.
More I read about the detachable the more I’m reluctant to go down that road.
Any tips

Hi daft question (may be that my D3 is different) - I've got the land rover fixed one and my brother the same on a D4 - it was a simple case of slotting it into the same fixing as the removable one alongside doing up 2 additional bolts.....

Assuming your talking D3, if so Ditto the above, slot into the existing towbar socket and bolt the two arms to the existing holes in the frame and you’re done 20 minute job. Torque settings for the bolts should be in the instructions that came with the bar.2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

This is the badger - if you see the OEM/Genuine option it comes with a key lock also alongside those two bolts

Apologies guys first time posting after reading loads of posts and searching various issues, should have said it’s a D4.
Really looking for a company to fit.
I’m going to be dragging some expensive kit of it so I’d like it done right.

If you can fill out your profile to indicate what model you have that would provide information for people to help you with any future queries you have .
Good luck with the towbar

Assume it's new to you so welcome to the forum!
They are pretty much self install.... but if you want piece of mind, which is fair enough!, I'd suggest a genuine landrover one from your local dealer and ask them to fit it for you

You really don't need it professionally fitted, its a very easy job, but if you do, your local independent can do it in less than 30 mins labour.D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

That's a great price btw - if I could work out how to fit two at the same time I would

As long as you own a torque wrench to tighten the bolts up, it's a 5 minute job involving 4 bolts.
Any garage would do it for you I expect. There's really nothing to it.2014 D4 XS
