Wow, if I hadn’t just stumped up for a disco I’d be all over this like a shot. Lovely condition - what a car!!

Just to answer a couple of Qs:
Bubbling of paint (c.1.5in) on each side where the front wing meets the bumper.
Model had no power steering, as standard.
2 'slits' in the roof seam c.1cm each side at the bottom of the rear window panel.
Wear to the driver's seat bolster, though intact.
Tyres are Avon rear and Falken front from memory and plenty of tread.
Welding patch on each of the sills, though rustproofed and solid according to the MoT tester.
A few small indentations on boot and door - hardly noticeable.
That's about it.
I have someone coming round this evening who's offered full asking price so long as it's as described...at least that's what he's said.
I'll post up that and if it doesn't go though.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Must say I had a blast just going from one side of Coventry to the MoT and back.
I had been put off the type of car from experience of MR2s and Lotus Elans and Vauxhall VX220 when they all came out respectively (though not the original Elan...I'm not that old) but it is much nicer to drive IMO than any of them.
I might come back to one, but if I took it back to the West Coast of Scotland without having a dry garage space specifically for it I'd worry how long it'd last.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Oh, just thought...I'm going to miss the spare wheel as it's clean and small and with 20psi in it makes the perfect Easibleed air reservoir. Used it on 2 cars and the Transit down here to get fresh brake fluid in for the MoTs.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Phew. I have a 124 Spider, which is great fun but I've always wanted an early MX5. SWMBO would not have been happy....
It looks a lovely car, not surprised its gone already. D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

Oh Stew.
It even had enough petrol in it to get to Pastyland.
The lack of power steering might not have been so good for you though if the roads are how I remember.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Yes, it does have 4.
I also put it in (temporarily because the MoT guys were about to change the spring) upside down such that the bolt wouldn't hold it in place.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto
