Lack of Power Below 2000 rpm
Recently had lack of power - flat below 2000rpm. Just happend half way through journey. Power is flat until 2000 rpm then goes normally. Sympoms like air filter blocked. Checked this and is ok. No fault shown on dash.
Is is possible that the airflow sensor in air intake is gone without showing a fault on the dash. Next trying disconnecting battery for a few seconds to see if it reboots without fault.
Just be careful that the EGR valves don't go on you giving total loss of power at an inconvenient moment. Mine failed infront of a fast approaching lorry.
May be in no way related, but I had no warning at all until after the failure. (Enging off and on again) when rather helpfully the engine management light woke up and joined the show . . . ."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Same symptoms as mine, now waiting for EGR valve to be fitted next week. At least there now seems to be a stock of EGR valves available to dealers.

nyone know where the EGR values are and what they look like. On the 300 series its on near the turbo. Can't find it on this one. Waiting for a Haynes manual to come out!
Not a clue but glad they are available - I waited 5 weeks. But mine I couldn't drive mine as there was No power at all.

Anyone know how to test these. Is there a simple resistance test I can do by disconnecting the ERG valve? I'm assuming as no fault is reported on the dash, then its not reported on the engine diagnostics computer?
