Is the ladder really designed that way seems most odd
Very clean example.

So £21,600 including the buyers premium. Not sure if that’s cheap or about right for the car? I did have a look at this as I’m looking for a v8 car next.
The history in this one just didn’t seem to stack up though as it has been off road for 3 years then changed hands twice in 3 months...
As for the rear ladder, I thought the rear tailgate was one piece on the sport? Otherwise it would be bolted shut by the ladder Defender 90 CSW MY06

At a guess it's 20% of the hammer price. About the usual amount for an auctioneers, although there may be VAT on top. Gary

I do not understand what is strange about that?
For Low mileage collectors items lt is quite common to have been suspended from road use (otherwise they would not stay at a low mileage ) and going from (trade) ownership to (trade) ownership...
I am into classics by trade, motorcycles though but we see this all the time nothing fuzzy
Some owners need money spontaneously, go to the trade, they buy, but it IS a lot of money so they flip it quick... or they swap with a trade colleague for some other more interesting motors for their customers.. etc. Etc...
So it does not need to be fuzzy with a few ownership changes. Best regards
Harold

Interesting. I currently want to sell my V8 G4 Disco - I've just got to get around to getting it MOT'd etc. It's pretty much just sat (plugged in to an optimiser) getting started and manoeuvred about the drive every so often, and I need some new stickers for the bonnet as the old one was basically just a white square.. and then polish it up for sale - so this price is helpful.. I'm not sure, but think the discos are more popular than the rangies, but I could be wrong.
