Only took a couple of hours and that included cutting and drilling a steel plate to mount them on.

Sorry to be dim (no pun intended ) but how do you adjust the beam? I just fitted mine straight to the expo rack and wired 'em up, never thought about beam patterns etc.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

I thought that you can turn the lamp to adjust the beam (that's why they have the removeable faces) so you can line them up properly (I think).

Yep Bodsy, thats how they work
I set the inside 2 roof spots to a distance pencil beam, the outside two are set to wide angle beam, and the lights angled down to illuminate the ground each side of the front of the vehicle. The inner and outer lamps are separately switched.
