MY2010 3rd row seats belt buckle wont auto retract |
|
Hi Disco3 forum,
Recently, i noticed my D4 MY10 3rd row seat belt buckle wont retract on its own. Normally, when you fold down the seats, the belt buckle would fold along with it towards the last part of the folding down until both the seat and seat belt are retracted. But instead, the belt buckle stands its ground, preventing the seat from being folded.
I can of course climb up the back, manually push down the belt buckle with one hand while retracting the seat with the other. Its definitely a two-hand if not three-hand operation plus some climbing.
Anyone has experience this issue before? Any remedies you would be able to share?
Thanks,
D4J

Thanks LazyDave.
Sounds pretty straight forward. Will give it a try this weekend and hope to yield some positive results.
Will post some photos for others if I manage to have it fixed without parts needing replacement.

Stumbled across another website with similar issue and resolved. Thought to post it here as it has a few annotated photos to guide the fix process.
