F on dash and limited gears. Codes below - RESOLVED
Driving on the A3 at about 69mph on Friday I got the dreaded bong. Gearbox fault with the big F on dispaly then suspension lowers and park brake fault on display. Car continues ok apart from rougher ride. Stop and switch of and restart fault clears until I get up to about 50mph then bong again. Limped back to where I’m staying and yesterday checked brake light bulbs and the bunch of wires in the near side rear wheel arch. All looks ok. Fault codes as follows;

Had the egr pipes blanked last week but haven’t doe the ECU delete yet, but prior to the bongs the car had made two trips up and down the A3 with one of them towing my caravan. Hoping this is some sort of electrical gremlin. I won’t be able to tow home with the car in this state.
Any ideas or pointers, please?Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

Youre's is a MY2008 so it will need the delete doing as this will probably bre you're problem. Did you remove the butterfly valave as well when the pipes where removed.

Thanks for the reply Flack. Yes butterfly removed, I’ve bought the EGR delete patch from BAS but haven’t installed it yet as I’m not sure how! I’ll get on to that right away.Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

As Flack said it needed the ECU patch to stop the car faulting. All done now and normal service resumed.
Thanks 👍Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.
