My head unit may need to be replaced, is it possible to replace a 6 CD radio unit with a single CD radio unit.
I don't need to load 6 CDs so a single one will be ok. will it be a direct replacement or is it difficult with all the connections.
I had a quick look on the I internet it seems there are more single units at a reasonable price.
Sorry forgot to mention it will be a standard l.r, unit not an aftermarket replacement.

No you can’t.
Your HSE has optical fibre amp, and that is where the 6CD unit outputs the sound.
Also the lcd display at the top wouldn’t work or Bluetooth (if fitted)
