Rain sensor after windscreen replacement
I had my windscreen replaced few days ago and now rain sensor seems to be a bit blind. It doesn`t turn on wipers until I cannot see where I`m driving. Used to work perfectly before replacement - wipers came on even on small amount of water on windscreen. Is there anything I need to do? Reset/recalibrate it ?
Thanks

Did you have a genuine Pilkingtons opticool glass fitted ?
Other cheap makes can cause issues, i think you can change the settings if you have the right diagnosticsAndrew

It might pay to turn up the sensitivity and see what happensAndrew

Is it possible to advise if you windscreen was changed by National Windscreens?
I just had a similar problem with the rain sensors after National Windscreens replaced my screen. I've owned my 2007 Disco 3 since new so I know it's not functioning correctly since the change.
Nat Windscreens have asked me to take to the LR main dealer to have it checked and they correct the screen if it's their fault, but I suspect it's becuase it's a cheap replacement.

No, not national. Strangely enough my sensor started working correctly again within few weeks after windscreen replacement. I did not do anything to the sensor.
