Device error for Bovee on 2011 HSE

On a new to us Disco trying to get music streaming working. I have a Bovee Bluetooth unit which works fine in my 2012 RR Westminster but keep getting device error in the Disco when trying to connect. No other devices plugged into aux /usb sockets.

Any ideas as to what the issue may be? Seems to be an issue in the Disco somewhere.

Thanks in advance

Do you need to re-pair your phone with it?

If you're using an iPhone I've found you need to have at least 1 song downloaded on Apple Music for it work

Yes got that - thinking more and more there is an issue within the car's connectivity as works fine with the Range Rover.....

United States 2011 LR4 5.0 V8 HSE Lux Auto Ipanema SandLR4

I have a 2011 LR4 and found this issue too.

The problem: There were 2 versions of the 30pin standard (firewire and USB standard)
Seems like the 2011 LR4 uses the older firewire standard.

The Fix: You need this specific convertor (30pin to 30Pin)
https://www.amazon.com/Xtenzi-Charging-Con...B00EH2O1W0

This was confirmed to work for me
I did also buy the "CableJive" adapter, but it did not work for me.

I got the idea for this from the below YouTube video, however "cable jive" did not work for me

Happy to answer more questions if its not clear.
