Air Jacks

I've decided to have a go at making (some) air jacks similar to X-Jack or Takla Whistle

My friend makes semi-rigid inflatable sea-going boats so has the necessary equipment (glues and thermo bonding gear) that he uses to make these.

All we need are details of the material used (we think its PVC but don't know the spec)

1 - Has anyone got this info?
or
2 - Is anyone prepared to lend us an air jack for a week so we can investigate the construction?

We intend to make a few 'tubes' and test them to destruction under my D3 Shocked

watch out for pics at some time Rolling with laughter

Its polyester reinforced PVC. I looked at making one but it turned out more expensive than the Takla and the Takla has got all the fittings and a safety valve on it. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
