retrofit heated seats

Hi, I have a 2014 discovery 4 with a leather interior and I would have liked to know if it was possible to enable heated seats. Question Question Question

Yes. It is very possible.

I put 22way electric heated into my 2014 commercial D4. Just needed the seats (mine didn’t have the heat originally) and the switches (sold on eBay) for the centre console. Turned it all on with IID tool and works perfectly - all plug and play.

Did the wheel too….. all was wired and ready just need the hardware.

Yes Antonio you definitely could already have the heat pads. There is a thread on here that I used during my install that clearly shows what cables need to be present. Briefly, there are cables entering the underside of the centre of the seat base that give away the heaters being there. Also the connection block under the front (where the airbags, and all things sensor/electric) of the seat will have blank spaces where the wiring is present from the car but has nothing on the seat side.

I’ll dig out the thread…..

I retrofitted rear heated seats to mine by buying the heat pads and carefully taking the seat apart, fitting the pads and refitting. It can be done. Thumbs Up

Today intrigued I took a picture of my seats and I would like to know if anyone experienced can understand they are heated or not.
Thanks for the replies
