My RRS came with a factory 12n socket which I noticed had a small plunger switch in it with two extra wires in the loom which plug into the car loom, switch activated when the plug is inserted which I assume switches the parking sensors off (don’t know about the fog lights haven’t tried them)Steve

Simply buy a loom whith resistors which are in line. This tricks Disco into thinking your trailer has bulbs not led's. Here is an image of what you need.

Thanks - neither my caravan nor the bike rack uses LEDs so that's not the issue. I don't need to "trick" the electrics into thinking I am using incandescent bulbs because I am.

Thanks this is great info. It looks as if part of the money saved on the non factory loom is the lack of these switches (and the wires to connect to them.

I have the same RRS, same year, factory fitted but no additional wires to turn off fogs
I guess there is a small chance the socket has a switch that I haven’t noticed.
