Hello all,
Recently purchased a Discovery 3 as spares or repairs that I've been slowly repairing.
I won an upgraded steering wheel with the media controls & cruise control which I've now fitted to replace the poverty spec one I had previously.
From what I've gathered so far, to get the cruise control working, the car needs to have the CC ECU, Clutch Control switch & have it enabled via a GAP IID tool.
I wanted to know 'if' my Disco has any parts already equipped? If so, can anyone point me in the right direct as to where to look? ( I do apologise in advance if it's a stupid question )
Thanks!
Also, what a cracking forum you've got going on here! It's nice to see an active helpful community.

There is no CC ECU. It's all done by engine management on these. (as no forward alert sensor)
Yes check you have a clutch switch if manual. Just pull the black/beige trim off from the bottom? and look
Some cars don't even need it enabling.
Powerful on youtube show them just fitting the wheel buttons and it working

I did the same with my 2009 gs model but I had to get the ecu flashed to recognise the new features.

I had a D3 GS I fitted cruise control auto head lights and windscreen had to be changed for that option but you need to get the ECU configurations turned on
