Adaptive lights on the wrong side of the road |
|
If you take a Disco3 to the Continent (or I bring mine to the UK), do the adaptive headlights offer the driver any possibility of changing the dipping as required? My dealer here thought "No" but it, if the lights move about (as I sort of imagine they do), I would have though some help might have been possible. Better anyway than just putting sticky tape on the lights!

Adaptive lights have a clip/knob on the inside of the light that you use when driving on the other side of the road. i.e. if your car was built for a market that drives on the left and you visit a country that drives on the right, adjust the clip and that's it. It's all in the manual. Gavin.

The adaptive lights turn with the steering wheel direction so all should be OK - unless you are turning toward the oncoming traffic that is... then you'll need to ensure your airbags are working

Many thanks for the useful tips and the extensive details in the other thread. The lights seem to do everything I had hoped they would.
BTW, is there any search facility on the board? For I might have looked for another thread if I had known how to.
