The quickest mod
So after the unfortunate demise of my D3 that I did a ton of upgrades too 14moths later I'm about to pick up a lowly spec 60 plate GS in Galway Green its only done 63000 and has had a rebuilt engine which has only done 1000miles.
So before my D3 passed away I was planning to do a D4 facelift mod... Xenons mirrors rear lights front bumper etc etc it never came to past and the facelift parts along with many other part languished in the shed for over a year until today. With the clocks on the D4 away for repair (needle illumination) I've had the opportunity to pop down the garage and swap some parts over at least to see how the would look and what direction to go paint wise with the grill.
So whats your opinion I know in the end its my choice but I kinda of like all 3 options (2nd pic is to see how the green looks) so all black grill, Land Rover standard grey sliver black or colour coded surround and grey/sliver or black grill decisions decisions
My other deliema is the ICE in Cumbria we are very limited with our FM stations and if you want decent radio DAB+ is the only way to go. While fitting a logic 7 highline system is quite an undertaking its very doable but I would go the whole hog and fit a complete HSE loom future proofing for heated memory seats which from reading on here will need extra wiring anyway so is it worth it being the Nav system is not so great or do I go for a double din setup and maybe to the RRS digital dash upgrade at a later date.
Any thoughts much appreciated oh and the fastest mod I swap over the rear lights already D4 GS let the retro fit begin

I prefer the 3rd grill personally.
In terms of ICE, I swapped my head unit and bypassed the amp, and I prefer that. The wife wanted to keep hers in the RRS so I just got her an Amazon Echo Auto which works really well and as long as you have signal you can get the radio through it. I would assume that you can play Spotify when there's no signal as long as you download the music.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Split decision already!! I suppose I do have the option of swapping them about as I fancy as see what grows on me. Went back to the car today and swapped over the light switch order a mirror of the bay so auto lights will be ready to go when the mirror arrives. hopefully get the new bumper and wing mirror covers away for paint this week starting to get excited. If you're looking to keep it as standard [which I don't think you want to do], then it's No1
But if you're wanting to update to the "MY14 onwards" look, then it's 2 or 3.
So for me it's:-
No2 if you're keeping the silver wheels, side vent, lettering etc.
No3 if you intend to go down the 'black pack' look e.g. black wheels, side vent, lettering etc....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Thanks forest66
So painter is coming tomorrow to pick up the bumper and bits so I've decided to go with Grill numbers 2 being painted with a green border and keep the all black one as is. I also have realised I have black side vents kicking about somewhere. Couple of parts turned up today just need heated seats to go with the buttons.
