2010 discovery 4 3.0 tdv6 battery warning light coming on
hi so i could use a bit of help with this one, so i start the vehicle and for about 30 seconds the vehicle alternator is not charging and the battery warning will come and the alternator will start charging WTF!! it has has a new alternator, a new battery monitoring cable and the battery is only about 6 weeks old i have checked all battery related hardware and it looks all ok i have this dtc B11DB-87 BATTERY MONITORING MODULE any help would be appreciated thanks.

Disconnect the BMM and see what happens.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

On the positive battery terminal you should have 3 cables. One goes to the starter/alternator, one to the main fuse box next to the battery and a small single cable which connects the BMM. Check the continuity of the single cable as these sometimes break inside the sheathing.Joe

hello every one thanks for trying to help me sort my problem battery light. A big thanks to OVAL AUTOS it was that single wire it was broken near the fusable link all good now. unfortunately i have one more problem which i am about to create a new post about
