My LR warranty is due for renewal on my 2016 D4 at 41k miles.
For 12 months, LR are quoting £1288 plus £150 for LRA, WD want £2362.80 with £150 xs, ME are asking £995 no contribution, any garage and up to £200/hr labour or £870 at £120/hr.
ME are also offering 36 months at £2606 £200/hr and £2275 £120/hr.
Tend to keep our cars forever, still got my '97 D1 and '53 D2 , so was tending towards the 36 month ME option.
What are peoples thoughts?

My advice is beware of the ME policy wording. For them to replace something, it has to completely fail either mechanically or electrically. They refused to cover suspension arms on my car as they hadn’t “mechanically failed”.

Thanks for the replies.
Still undecided, ME have offered me 18 months for the price of 12 or 36 for 24 but changed all my chosen options.
Having read through the Landrover warranty policy handbook, I see that crankshafts are in the list of covered items but is that then countered by the Inherent Design Fault comment?
Engine
Failure of the following internal mechanical parts only: Starter ring gear, flywheel,
oil pump, crankshaft and bearings, timing gears, Variable Valve Timing control
unit (VVT), timing chain and cam belt, camshafts, cam followers, tappet gear,
valves and guides, pistons and rings, cylinder bores, con rods, cylinder head,
cylinder head gaskets and all internal bushings (excluding lacquered valves or
failures due to carbon deposits).
Inherent Design Fault
Inherent Design Fault means any fault which is ultimately caused by a defect in
design, materials or workmanship which existed, but may not have been
apparent, when the Vehicle was manufactured.
