That looks a good price. Will chase it up after my night shift.
Its done well for 130k miles.
just had the main man around yesterday (Mr Bodsworth)
8 speed gear box oil flush, diffs and transfer box oils replaced. Here's hoping for another 130k miles
Cheers

I have just had my propshaft replaced by my local Indie - Andy White in Edinburgh - and he charged £287 for the part plus labour plus VAT.
I had no idea the centre bearing was shot but that bearing is now an MOT item. No change in drivability or noise with the new one so I'm a bit sceptical that it really needed to be replaced! However, what the MOT man says goes.D1 300Tdi - gone
D2 Td5 ES (Alive remapped...mmm) - sadly gone
D4 2012 SDV6 XS - Stolen
D4 2014 SDV6 HSE - Shiny

Exactly the same here.
Had my D4 in for an oil service and MOT at my LR indie on Nov.
Came back with this propshaft advisory.
Have never heard or felt anything whilst driving (even now), so assumed an overzealous tester.
So was going to leave it and for its next MOT, put it through a local tester.
However, after reading this, I’ll get the prop done when it’s in for its main service in May.

Alas can’t comment if there be any good but out of curiosity plse noticed that from 2015 the transfer case is 1 speed and prior to that is a 2 speed
Just wondered if that’s correct plse and hope u didn’t mind me asking, will u also have to replace the propshaft bolts as well pls or can u use the old ones
Many thks
