What wheels are these?
Hi all, just finished washing the D3 and noticed something odd in amongst the wheel and hub. Looks to me like the caliper carrier is/was rubbing on the back of the alloy!!
Does anyone recognise this wheel style, and know if it should ever have been fitted to a D3? (Previous owner fitment I might add). Looks closest to the image on the wiki for MY07 Style 2, but not quite the same. Possibly RR/S wheels or something else entirely? I’ll crawl up under and see if i can spot the markings on the spare.
I’ve had tyres on my list for a while (wintery winters, not even all seasons), but not sure whether to change to wheels and tyres or just add spacers. Definitely rubbing though, at least in the past. Same chipped/damaged looking pattern all around the inside of the alloy where the caliper carrier would rub.

Genuine D3/4 wheels are usually rated to 940kg.... if it were me I'd be looking for another set of genuine LR D3/4 original wheels... I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Aye, that’s my reckoning. Do you know, is it minimum 19s to fit over the 337mm brake upgrade kit size discs and bigger carriers? I fancied 18s for a little more sidewall, but also fancy bigger anchors in the future
Edit: just had a quick scan around, seems 18s are an option for a brake upgrade! Best of both worlds.D4 XS Commercial - MY16 - Corris Grey

Should add, they’re 19s. Not convinced they’re LR anyway, with the made in Germany tag, (slightly) lower load rating and lack of a LR stamp or part number.
But they otherwise fit the bill, same 255/55/19 tyre size, just the wrong offset by the looks of it, albeit by a mere millimetre or so, otherwise I’d never have noticed!D4 XS Commercial - MY16 - Corris Grey
