| Windshield misting sensor |

I’ve just replaced this sensor as it was showing a permanent fault on the computer.
It’s a tiny thing , about the size of a postage stamp ,!!
It cost me £98 from the main dealers .
But what does it do ?
I’ve been reading up other peoples update on changing this and the fault codes ,,
But no one knows what it does ,

Don't suppose you can reveal the part number and how you replaced it can you?

Hi . Sorry I haven’t got a part number , I’ve actually sold the vehicle.
But it sits in a little black box behind the rear view mirror stuck to the windscreen.
Took seconds to replace . Disco 1 Gone
Disco 2 TD5 Gone
Disco 3 V8 Petrol Gone
