HELP !! doubt about installing lower front suspension arms!!

I have recently done both upper and lower arms on my car and found you just need to supersize your tool kit to include very long wrenches to get lots of leverage to undo the bolts. Plus 275-300Nm is a lot, I got a halfords advanced torque wrench in the end that goes to 300nm. I just jacked up from under the arm to get the right height setting before torquing. The car now drives without the dreaded clunk every time you go over a bump/pothole in the road. I bought the lot from AF including all the fitting kit. I think for both uppers and lowers it was just over £400.
