Bump and an update, we took it to France, 1000 miles covered in absolute comfort, 5 up with roof box, 5 bikes and a boot full of stuff, car did not miss a beat and did bloody well on fuel too.

think it just went over 100k whilst we were away will check as maybe a bit more as we did around 900 ish i think. engine was fitted at 88k.

replacement engine
Hi there, could I ask how long it took for LR to come back with a confirmation for a new engine replacement. I've got mine in a garage and it's been over a month waiting to get it repaired...

Mine took 10 weeks but knew quite quickly they would do it. Is it main dealer as they usually know what they will come back with.

Hey, different question - how did you fit 5 bikes and a roof box? have the same myself but maybe my roof box is too big?
Also where did you go in France? looking for recommendations...
