Steering Wheel Volume Control Buttons

Can anyone help, how do you get the blanking button space off the r/h Side of the steering wheel.
I have unscrewed the 2 T20 Screws and wiggled the panel but it doesn't want to come off. Is there an easy way or do I have to be brutal.

Thanks.

Watch out for that air bag, if you set it off it will hurt.
