D3 in Scotland, advice needed please.
Hi all, I am taking the chronically polluting D3 to Scotland later this summer I am utterly uninformed about ULEZ / congestion type zones there etc……Will be driving mainly up the eastern side from Edinburgh, to Dundee, and Aberdeen areas, and then over to Inverness again (as we did 2 yrs ago). Are there any zones that I will be likely to get clobbered for charges around these areas ? Grateful for thoughts on this…
Many thanks, Dave.D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

Aberdeen has just introduced a central emission charging zone but it won’t come into force (charges) until 2024. Stop by for a coffee if you’re heading from Aberdeen to Inverness happy to give you a list of things to see up this way if you need one.I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Good to know ... SWMBO is trying to persuade me to drive the youngster to a gig there. Mind you, he could go in his Punto and stay in a Travelodge for less than the D4 will cost in diesel !

Dave, no existing Land Rover will ever pollute as much as the manufacture of a new car.
Repair, reuse (and eventually) recycle.
Enjoy the trip
