DTV 1 or DTV 2 - Digital

What's the difference between these two sources and is there any way to get the system to re-scan the available channels, I can't find an option anywhere to do it?

I’ve done a scan on mine several times, just press the hard switch on the dash and follow the instructions although it is pointless as you can’t watch it for more than 3 minutes when stood without the engine running without risk of a flat battery and you can’t watch it while travelling at more than 4mph. One of the most useless extras available IMHO.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I think the 2 different receivers allow different tv channels to be watched at the same time- as in one for each passenger.
