PRICE OF SERPENTINE BELT

our runaround vitara needs a new set of belts...serpentine and fan...suzuki dealer want £135 just for the two belts...that appears rather high to me as the internet shows belts for little money...if i thought suzuki belts were made special for them might be temped but suspect they will just be run of the mill factor belts.
am i out of touch with prices ?

A PITA if they fail, though. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Or just do what I have done for decades, and buy a named make for sensible money, never once had any issues with belts, that is on cars/trucks/boats/plant etc etc.
Cheap fan belts are nothing to be afraid of, flat belts are pretty much foolproof.

If you look at your belts the size might still be visible, this gives you even more options as you can then go to a bearing factor.

Ask on a suzuki forum might get you same names/makes to use/avoid.

Advanced Factors can sort you out, I run a little Micra and they got me the belts I needed for it, give them a cal and see if they are better.

Flack Thumbs Up
