How to get a piano black finish on interior? |
|
Hi all,
Recently decided to paint the air vents and plastic parts of my interior gloss black however it turned out matte, any help in how to get that shiny piano black finish on it?
I’ve got lacquer but I don’t know if that’s how you get the finish and don’t want to ruin my plastic applying it without knowing if it it will work.
Regards,
Solomon

Very fine wet paper and careful spraying in an enclosed area should sort it.

The paint used is important if you go the lacquer route ... e.g. Plastikote do 2 different ones and picking the wrong one can wreck the paint.

If it goes wrong I’ll just sand it all off and start again
