D3 side indicator repeaters not working - fuse??
Hi - I need some help please.
My indicator repeaters have stopped working - one got damaged in a brush with a hedge, so I bought two new ones and have fitted them. I can't get them to work though.
I am guessing it is a fuse issue (?) but for the life of me - despite looking at the manual and the engine compartment / glovebox fuse diagrams - I cannot see where the fuse for these would be. I'm assuming they have their own fuse?
Has anyone else had this problem and worked out how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

No won’t be a fuse. As long as the rears work.
I assume you purchased fancy aftermarket ones. I suspect that could be the problem.
Take your good remaining one and plug it in to each door and see if it lights

Hi
Sadly not - both had stopped working before I bought the new ones - not fancy, just the ones that had the best review on eBay...
Any thoughts on what to do next (anyone)??

As Pete K says, "as long as the rears work". The front repeaters come off the same circuit as the rear indicators. No fuse on any of them, they're all driven by FETs in the CJB. They also pass through the same connector as the puddle lamp and central locking for the door, so if they all work and the rear indicators work then it has to be a local issue.
I'd be shoving a 5W bulb directly across the connector and see if it lights up. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen LED replacements have the polarity incorrect and refuse to work. (Assuming the replacement are LED. If they're not then I'm out of ideas).

If they are LED's then just rotate the connector 180 degrees and it should work.

I can confirm after some fiddling that they were faulty - I have ordered new ones. Thanks everyone for your replies, they helped me to solve the issue!! Much appreciated.
