OT - Jerry Cans ????

Went to buy odds and ends at Makro yesterday. All standard Jerry Cans sold out and they reckon suppliers can only supply at end May. Even the blue ones for water apparently are being bought for diesel storage and tranportation. They have a stainless steel model from China going for R580 ! - Exclamation

Eventualy found some at Ferreiras, but they do not fit into the standard Jerry can brackets -looks like the Russian design. Question

Seems there is/was a massive run on Jerry Cans for fuel for generators

Anyone knows who still have stock of the original shape Jerry can at reasonable price ? (less that R200.) in Jhb area

I also heard of someone selling second hand ones - hopefully not leaking

I was at 4x4 centre on main road in Bryanston earlier in the week, They had tons of them, and at a good price too.
