Amk compressor mounts
Hey everyone, I’ve been getting an error message on the D4 the last few times of use of standard height only. Now I’ve noticed for a while that the compressor seems a little slow so after a check on the gap tool I’m hoping the compressor just needs a service and valve block cleaning. I’ve also noticed that the mounts that hold the compressor seem to be worn/loose. I have tried to find replacement parts but it’s looking like after Christmas (eBay) but I would like to get said job done over the Christmas. Does anyone know a part number or anywhere I can get them from a little quicker? Thanks Colin

£70.... for a rubber mount.. That's f ridiculous..
Even the £30 e-bay option seems a lot especially when the postage is added
Assuming the bolts / springs that are existing can be reused the cost of the rubber will be pennies..
Is this a common problem?Up a creek...now where have I stashed the paddle

Not tried it myself and it's just a wild thought but since worn prop shaft rubber mounts are commonly repaired with Sikafix or similar (search on here for more info) maybe you could do similar as a temporary fix?
Obviously you make your own decisions and take responsibility for your own actions etc etcI see no ships........

The more I look at the picture the more it looks like the bolts were never tightened properly because surly if they were worn that much the rubbers would have disintegrated. I will investigate more when the service kit comes.2015 D4 HSE Loire Blue
