Sorry, another FBH question:
With the WTT software I have noticed that even during test the fan reading is around half the value set during test, ie, if I do a fan test at 100% for 10 sec, the control panel shows the fan at 40%???
Got my FBH working with the air compressor and I adjusted the CO2, but still didn’t fire up on its own this morning. What is the max recommended CO2 value?
What could be the root cause of my fan not spinning fast enough? Bearing, crud, ???

Maybe some help? Excerpt from the WEBASTO manual.
CO2 comparison:

01. The heater must be in regular operation.
02. If this function can be carried out, a window with the slider opens.
03. Depending on the heater type, the adjustment is made by changing the blower speed
04. or by changing the dosing pump frequency.
05. Therefore, on some controllers the adjustment is proportional and on other controllers inversely proportional to CO2 emissions.
06. After setting, wait until the new CO2 value has stabilized.

I've been out this evening and altered the CO2 value several times. It was on 159 (decimal) initially so I ramped it up to 165 then back 152, then 146. At each of these values I tried to start the FBH without the help of an auxiliary air supply but it refused to start independently.

If altering the CO2 values doens't do the trick, what is my next best option? Full strip down and de-coke?

New glowplug

Since a new glowplug is a new burner unit at Webasto or JLR, not cheap.

But i bet the resistance of the glowplug is too high, normal at this age… Cool

Sometimes you can buy seperate glowplugs in germany (ebay or ebay-kleinanzeigen)
If the nozzle inside your burner is not damaged, a cheaper option Wink

Thanks, do you know the glow plug part number?

If I strip the unit down, is there a test I can do on the glow plug?
