Throttle sensor reset,
How do you reset the throttle position sensor?
I have a IID tool and Delphi software but can’t see how to do it on either.

Richard,
I have but it won't show them. 2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 Commercial.
I had seen a post from someone else about doing this but it seems like a red herring, as I have just had this reply from Patrick at GAP 'Such a function does not exist, not implemented by LR.'

When you say 'throttle position sensor' do you mean the throttle pedal in the car? There is no throttle butterfly on a diesel to measure the position of.Richard

I guess that's what this guy must have meant. He said it was much less laggy after a reset.

The only way to change how the throttle responds is to have a re-map. I wonder if he cleared some other issues, and it just felt better to drive? Doesn't sound like he's very familiar with a Disco, he hasn't worked out how to hill start with the auto release hand brake!Richard

Richard,
He's barking up the wrong tree then! Could be placebo effect!
Agreed. Even without the auto release it's not exactly tricky to do a hill start using the electronic handbrake manually.
