EPB Service.

I know I'll probably regret saying this, but "My EPB seems to be working perfectly"

Now, I'm a believer in preventative maintenance, so what should I be looking at to service it. Taking discs off and making sure everything is clean, free and adjusted correctly, shoes have plenty of lining left ?

Anything else I should be doing ?

all i ever do is every six months adjust the shoes then every year pop the discs off and lube with grease behind the shoes where they sit on the back plate and check everything moves freely then adjust

had the d3 for 10yrs now and the d4 for 5 years now not had any trouble with either of them (lol fingers crossed)
 please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou

EPB fine and never worked on but always a worry - I know it's not if but when something will go wrong. Shocked

Does this mean take off wheel, take off caliper, take off disc, clean, perhaps a little lube, adjust per the "bible" and assemble.
Oops! must be jacked up as first step.
Bow down

I wish I had the faith you guys have.

Had my rear brake pads changed and ever since they squeak like hell forward and in reverse.

Been lubed up and still squeal like a dead duck.

Hi, Try a different Brand, my D3 had some ferodo brake pads fitted on the front, they made squealing at low speed after braking, i changed them for some EBC pads, all good Smile

Has for the EPB, I cycle it twice a week, same with the ride height.

The whole set pads and discs etc came from https://www.powerfuluk.com

So I presumed they would be ok, specially at their prices.

This is what I ordered..

That looks a great brake kit, If it was me i would strip both side down again, check parts, then rebuild. Smile
