Hi all. New member here, but no stranger to the green oval having had D2s, Defenders and even a FL2 in the past.
Just sold my wife's Peugeot, and now looking for a D4 to use mainly as a second vehicle and to get us up and down the Gloucestershire hills in the bad weather.
I was pretty much set on a Euro 5 (s/s) with the lower VED rate, but seem to be really struggling to find one within my budget of £14k. A high miler is fine, but would like something with a service history that proves that everything's been done when it should have.
Am I being completely unrealistic, and if so, what kind of engine/age/mileage/spec should I be expecting to pick up in the £10-14k range? More importantly, what kind of issues am I likely to face (apart from a big VED bill) if I have to go for something older than a 2014 model?
Thanks in advance. If anyone has anything suitable they are thinking of selling, then I have the cash waiting.
