Tool bag/kit - whats recommended
Hey guys, not sure if this is a daft question.. i’m looking to put together a “go-to” tool kit with all the spanners etc which i’d need if I wanted to work on my D4.
Is there a list of required tools? I dont mean for really ad-hoc jobs like timing belts but changing wheels, servicing, taking off interior panels etc.
Thank you

Hi
Must confess some of the Halfords advanced range do some good kits and have a lifetime warranty
Plus best to get a bottle jack to store in the disco replacing the aweful scissor jack , , along with a decent breaker bar for the wheel nuts , screw driver set
Also a decent trolly jack and axle stands , personally bought mine from SGS , along with one of there tool chests/ drawers, a parts trolly is also very handy to have
Can get a good range of clip removal tools etc from eBay
Finally a decent diagnostic reader , ie the gap iid is very good and a multimeter , there’s a basic reader which is handy to keep in ur glovebox called an Autel AP200 , want the white one
I would add an engine earth strap to the list there.
