My D4
I own a 2014 D4 and I love it to bits, but I renewed the LR extended warranty again for the last time as next year will be it’s Tenth birthday, my question is do I keep it and take my chances or sell and look for something else, I absolutely love the car but as I am getting older I am worrying more, I have even thought about getting the Engine reconditioned due to the crank issue,

No amount of reconditioning will cure the crank issue. The issue is the design itself. If you have a good one and it's been cared for well and you know its history I would be keeping it.
If you don't already, follow LR time on you tube. It explains the crank issue fully and if your vehicle has achieved decent mileage already it is likely to keep going with the correct oil (5w 40 instead of the 5 30 recommended) and changes every 6 months.
I miss mine, there really isn't much out there that even competes...had toe rags not tried to steal it - I would still have it. I keep in contact with the new owner, he loves it and has put 1000's on the clock...Mine was a 2014 also, with full warranty & loads of servicing in between LR services.
If you know yours... keep it.
or you'll miss it as I do! A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.

If it has been well maintained keep it and switch to C3 5W40 as previously said. I use Morris Lubricants and it would be worth following /contacting JPSK Motors Ltd on Facebook, extremely informative and knowledgeableđź‘ŤD4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Galway Green Black Leather Adaptive Xenons Logic 7 TV Pre-heater
