humming noise from battery area

Hi all,
I get a buzzing, humming noise from the engine compartment (near the battery) after i turn off the engine. I dont like to leave the car like that so i wait for it to stop. Sometimes it talkes a few mins and others it wont stop till i restart and turnoff.
Anyone any ideas before i call LR?

if it's after a short journey, it's probably the FBH on it's purge cycle

It is as 10fc says the FBH. Makes all sorts of noises. Don't panic, just walk away! Wink
