Inlet Manifold Hole - should it have a hole |
|
Does anyone know if the inlet manifold for an SDV6 has had the hole in the top for the breather hole deleted, and as such should it be drilled out when fitted to a 2013 SDV6 D4.
I read something a couple of days ago saying the breather had been deleted on later cars so checked the new LR manifold i fitted to my car 4 months ago and it doesn't seem to have a hole just a blind casting with no hole. - has an incorrect part been supplied, or does this need to be drilled out?
There was no indication that would need to be done in the packaging. Must stop buying shiny toys....

Ah OK so the whole breather can be removed and plugged then when I change the other side - which annoyingly is now split didnt change it whilst the car was stripped down as I couldn't get a genuine one and they were on backorder, wasnt keen to fit a non genuine one Must stop buying shiny toys....
