| Hands Free Microphone Input fault |

Hi all
The hands free microphone has stopped working, with a fault code relating to the microphone input which is in the back of the stereo (?)
I’ve replaced the microphone but still nothing. Short of rewiring from the head unit to the microphone, is there anything to check that could resolve it?

Mic wiring is wierd on these.
It also goes to the dvd drive under the passenger seat.
Whether is uses the headunit or dvd to listen to the mic I don’t know. I suspect the dvd is used on an HSE for voice control
So buzz out the mic to both places and see if there is a wiring fault.
I believe there is also a 4 pin connector under the drivers seat that is goes through, to get to dvd drive I guess.
