Bottom arms rear bolts
Had a quick go at removing the bottom arms as both are shot. All the bolts were pretty easy, but just couldn't get the rearmost bolts of the front arm to budge.
Is this normal? Do I need to heat or just keep applying torque?

4' scaffolding bar on a ring spanner for mine! The frustrating bit is the little amount of movement you get, so have to keep taking it off relocating the spanner and putting the bar on again, until it's eventually loose enough for just a breaker bar.
Good luck!

A lot of people have resorted to cutting them with a reciprocating saw, I bought a new saw and blades, didn't need them

May be worth checking out a scaffolders tool called a Podger - they are slim single ended ratchet spanners available in different sizes but 21mm is a common one and can be grabbed from most tool places like screwfix or toolstation - the other end tapers to a thinner section and can be slipped into a lenth of scaffolding pole for getting some leverageMust stop buying shiny toys....

If you're replacing the entire arm use a mini angle grinder with a "Slim Jim" cutting disc. Cut the arms off close to the bush mount which will make it easier to access the bolts inside the mounting brackets. You might have eat a couple of discs, but less than 10 mins job done.
If you're intending to replace the bushes only this method doesn't work quite so well yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
