Hi!
I picked up a Disco 4 from 2014, decent shape albeit a bit of rust rust I'm trying to fix.
Its decently equiped, leather seats and winter package. However I do miss some feature. Especially reverse parking camera and electric seats with memory for switching between drivers.
Is it possible, or rather is it reasonable, to pick up HSE parts from a junkyard and retrofit them?
How much work would it be?
Where would I start? I will need to read up on the electronics of the car. How do I do this? I enjoy a challenge and I the time - but it needs to be reasonably cost effective.
I'm also seriously missing BT integration: but couldn't that be solved by installing a small android tablet on a swing arm? Anyone done this successfully and have suggestion on good "drive mode" app for the tablet?
And how about upgrading the Meridian sound to HSE sound with all speakers and such?
Can the S onboard computer handle the HSE modules by activating them or does the whole computer need to be replaced?
Id be very grateful for any advice and suggestions!

There's quite a few threads on here about people wanting to add things to a lesser specked D4, some successfully and some not so much as I recall. Quite often I recall comments to the effect that it was probably easier to simply buy/swap to a higher spec vehicle.
I think the answer you'll find is that for some things it's pretty easy and for others, it could drive you mad.
So, get busy with the search facility, see what you can drag up.
