so many myths around AB . Never had crystals cause issues on any vehicle. it crystallises when it can dry out but this reverses when in contact with liquid again. It will NOT stay in crystal form in the tank with AB.
Most issues come from any dust that gets into the tank or the tank breather can get blocked by crystals if overfilled. Again easily put right!

I'm going to go with Gary_P & JLR and, as my D4 is will be somewhat short of 16k miles in two years I'll have the tank drained & refilled at the next service.
