Cruise control causing engine systems fault

I have suffered over the years with several engine system faults caused by a cracked inlet manifold down to a split vacuum hose to the 2nd turbo on my 2010 HSE.
I am now getting the engine system fault come up as soon as I set criuse control but at no other time. This time the light stays on even after the car has been asleep for several hours but does drive normally.
I can clear the code but it comes straight back once I switch cruise on.
The code is P062B "internal control module fuel injector performance".
I know the answer is just don't use cruise but I would like to get it fixed.
Any help would be much appreciated.

No it all original with 118,000 on the clock.
