Help. Young person insurance on my Defender
I want to add my 18 year old daughter to my insurance on my Defender. Admiral won't do it because of her age, despite insuring her on a Discovery 3 I know the values are different but they are both big powerful cars.
Does anyone know particular insurers that would insure her?D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

My D4 is insured with Direct Line. I added my 19 yr old son to the insurance for an extra £120. I was surprised at how affordable that was.
In contrast, my wife could not afford to add me to her insurance for an old VW Touran. She said it would be hundreds to add me! Sounds a bit odd. She is insured with a company that we hadn't heard of before now. Anyway, I still drive her car as my insurance covers me for 3rd party only on any vehicle.D1 300Tdi - gone
D2 Td5 ES (Alive remapped...mmm) - sadly gone
D4 2012 SDV6 XS - Stolen
D4 2014 SDV6 HSE - Shiny
Admiral are getting picky, choosing safer bets as customers.
They upped premiums by 20% and lost 7% of their customers, but profits went up..
