Discovery 3 Logic 7 Stereo Upgrade Incartec Upgrade

So I've purchased the following:

InCarTec FK-853-6 Land Rover Car Stereo Fitting Kit (LOGIC 7 with Screen Retention)

Pioneer SPH-DA360DAB 6.8” Wireless Apple Carplay Android Auto DAB/DAB+ Bluetooth Stereo

BLAM AK-LR-01 sub amplifier fitting kit

This is to retain the kit to retain the sat nav. It's all wired in, i had to remove the mother board from the existing unit in order to the uper screen and the logic 7 system.

Their instructions tell you to fit it to the bottom of the centre console below the air vents. If you do this the double din stereo will not fit in the cage. Has anyone fitted any of these and if so where do you put the motherboard?

I've tried the upper glove box, but it's too big. You can't close it.
It won't close. Have you managed to fit it in there? Also did the cable reach or did you cut the wires to extend them?

I haven’t done the mod.
Upper glovebox was the common place for the rear part of the headunit, back in the day

I've tried behind the lower glove box, inside the upper glove box, down the side of the centre console, the only other option is under the seat, that would require cutting and lengthening the cables that were supplied for this kit. But what doesn't make sense is that they say this kit is supposed to be plug and play.

There is a big empty space just in front of the gear shifter (auto), thats where i have my brake controller that has a remote dial.

I've tried in there, the motherboard is too big.

I had a reply from incartec technical.

"Hi there isn’t a set place for it ,I know people find it difficult but they do find a place in the end .

Kind regards Shaun"

Not the most helpfull answer seeing as they sell this as a plug and play kit for over £200 . That also gives you specific instructions to fit the motherboard in a place that is too small for it.
