I have just removed the epb module from the disco, I have gone to start it I now have no fuel gauge dose the epb module need to be connected for the fuel gauge to work or have I knocked something when. I pulled the cables through?

Yep, fuel gauge is linked to the EPB

Just went for a run and engine is spluttering I take it it's designed to run like this when the epb is removed

I love these cars, but who in their right mind would make the fuel gauge dependent on the hand brake???
If your choosing to live without the EPB, may be worth seeing what the resistance value is of the EPB you took out, may be able to jump the terminals on the plug and fake the EBP still being in place? 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey
