Suspension fault
Hi all. I’m in a bit of a situation. My car has been standing for 3 1/2 months due to a problem with the steering pump overhaul. Anyway, my problem is the suspension has dropped and won’t rise. The max it can be driven is about 30mph, as it bounces, uncontrollably. Has anyone got any ‘tricks’ I can try to get this moving? Note, the compressor works to about 17psi.
Many thanks in advance

jack it up so its off the bumpstops and let the compressor fill the bags bit at a time.

Hi
May I also plse add that ur compressor should produce up to around 250 Psi, so may need an overhaul or leak in the system
just wondering how you measured the 17psi, was that with a direct connection from the pump output into a pressure gauge?D3 4.4 V8 2005 sadly now gone
Freelander 2 i6 HSE now gone was a very good 4x4

Was it holding up before "storage"? What year is it? might be a good time to overhaul the compressor and valve blocks. Check whether the tank is rusty and leaking.

With the compressor running trying to pump spray everything with fairy liquid solution and look for bubbles. This will help id the area you need to be concentrating on.
However at 17psi it's not going pump anything up. So I would start with that.

I make a habbit of driving it for a few minutes every day or else the suspension starts playing up imediately!
